Our History
The Junior Service League of Greater New Port Richey was organized in February of 1971, to establish the standards of the national organization, education, and volunteer service, within this area of Florida. The founder and first President of the newly formed “League,” Mrs. Wayne L. Cobb, began functioning in the community with seventeen other charter members.
The “League” approved the first Bylaws of the Junior Service League of Greater New Port Richey on February 4, 1971, and on September 18, 1972, the club was incorporated under the State Laws of Florida.
